All of Harlem Candle Co.'s offerings are an ode to some of the icons and landmarks of the New York City neighborhood. The Langston candle, in particular, pulls symbols from the poet's life, "like the vintage leather of his favorite armchair," as the brand describes, and combines it with notes of tobacco, clove, and vanilla that are, according to the brand's website, reminiscent of "the pipes of the neighborhood regulars."
